Jacks Global Economy Proposed Spending During Height of Recession

During the beginning-to-middle of the Recession, back in Late 2008 and January 2009, where unemployment and joblessness was trending upwards without end in sight, Jack McGuire thought to himself... "I'll SPONSOR a NEW Bill which we CAN INCREASE GOVERNMENT SPENDING ... Sounds good, got my YES vote (heck I co-sponsored he bill)..."

In January 2009, the Nation was starting an uphill battle with unemployment (see image below).

 The nation was in between 7 & 8% unemployment (for the month of January 2009 only) and Illinois was at 8% unemployment (which means that Joliet-Will County Illinois was around 9-12% unemployment)!!  The Federal Stimulus Bill hadn't kicked-in yet and Illinois' Capital Bill didn't kick-in yet (its was Illinois' version of the Stimulus Bill - in which Jack voted to raise TAXES on pop, coffee, tea, alcohol, grooming products, cigarettes and more!!!).

And "Jack" couldn't help himself from SPONSORING and voting YES to MORE GOVERNMENT SPENDING!  See below, it was called the "HIGHER ED STUDY ABROAD FUNDING ACT" and thankfully it got shelved!!!!  Could he NOT see that we had a JOBS and UNEMPLOYMENT problem, and that the Illinois' Budget Crisis was coming to light!  We had (and still have) no money... AND YET HE WANTED TO KEEP SPENDING MORE AND MORE BORROWED MONEY?????

Global Economy Jack???  How about being able to handle even OUR own economy!!!!  More Government Spending during a Recession? ... Isn't that what partially got us in this mess in the first place???  Even though this bill was introduced in March of 2008, Unemployment was going-up EVERY SINGLE MONTH SINCE THEN and he KEPT PUSHING FOR THIS BILL TO KEEP GOING!!!!

For this reason and many reasons more we say Vote Jack McGuire Out in 2012!
